Predator's web

From a distance you can't see it
it isn't until you are right in front of it
when you see the the net to catch the prey
kids run and play under it never stopping
I don
t see the spider
he must be hiding
this web is attached to a tree's branch
delicately esquistly made to capture
the weak
flies and other insects
yet the spider isn't visible
the spider thirst on blood and we wait
and sit observing his artistry
easily destroyed yet
once the prey is captured
the reward for the spider for waiting
Finally I think of women and marriage
